Our hay rides are given on the weekends from September thru October. Mr. Bob Creichton, a former teacher and presently head of the Draft Horse Association of Maine, drives his team of mules. Bob takes his wagon on our nature trails and gives a commentary about all the different types of trees that are found on the trails. The wagon continues on, until it reaches the orchard where Bob will stop and let you off to pick apples. After that, it's on to the pumpkin patch where again he stops to let you find just the right pumpkin or gourd. There is no need to rush because the hay ride will be back to pick you up and take you back for the return trip.
